What is imaround? How do i use it?
IMaround is a simple technology that allows you to embed your presence information in your web site. Thus, you are just one click away from real-time interactions with your partners, customers, friends and others contacts. This allows your contacts to chat/connect without the need of downloading any other instant messaging application.

Can I chat with more then one person using imaround?
Yes, of course. You can respond to multiple chats from your publisher account.

How do I customize my signature?
Login to imaround, and click on "Get signature" to customize your signature. You can select between the various image size, preview it and click "submit".

What do you display on my signature?
Your presence will be indicated on your signature and that is all that is revealed. The nickname you set is the display name used on your chat window.

What are the different signature types that i can create for myself?
Based on the image size you would like to publish, you can select the icon to display.

How do i include my icon on my web page?
After downloading the signature, click on "submit" to get a HTML sniffer to be include on your web page.

How do i change my status message?
You can select from the list of present status message after logging into imaround.

Can I change my nickname?
Yes, you can change the nickname you wish to display for your chat window by using "Change Nickname" option in the application.

Do i have to remain on the web page to chat with the contacts who get in touch with me?
You can either use web client or download the platform based standalone client from <URL> and use that to chat with your users.

What are the various platforms supported by the standalone application?
Imaround is build on Adobe Air. So you should be able to use this on any platform- windows, Linux and mac having Adobe Air.

I clicked on the imaround icon on a web page, do i need to register to start chatting with the publisher?
No you can give any nickname and email-id to start chatting with the publisher. There is no authentication required to send a request.
